We offer steel and aluminum sheet bending services up to 5 millimeters thick. Steel and aluminum bending is the process of shaping sheet metal into angles or forms according to design specifications without cutting the workpiece. It is commonly used in structural, decorative, and industrial applications requiring precision.
Working Principle
Pressure from a press brake is used to press the metal sheet onto a die to create the desired angle or shape. Various angles are possible, including 30°, 45°, 90°, or special angles.
Popular Folding Materials
- Steel (Mild Steel)
Strong and durable, suitable for structures, cabinets, and chassis. - Aluminum
Lightweight and rust-resistant, suitable for decorative applications, covers, and industrial panels. (Also commonly found: Stainless steel, galvanized sheets)
Common folding methods
- Air Bending
Folds without fully pressing against the mold. Suitable for general applications. Easy angle adjustment. - Bottoming
Presses the workpiece against the mold, resulting in sharp and precise angles. - Coining
Uses very high pressure for precise angles. Suitable for specialized precision work.
Metal folding is a popular application
- Steel/Aluminum Gates and Fences
- Electrical Panels and Control Cabinets
- Roof Structures and Wall Panels
- Machine Parts
- Interior and Exterior Building Decoration
Advantages of folding steel and aluminum
- Precise shape and high precision
- Strong and no additional welds
- Saves time and costs in mass production
- Custom orders are welcome
